It's the simple things...

This is a dedication to all those who love to eat, but can't necessarily go out and shop Whole Foods every week to do so. To the little guy, the aspiring chefs, or maybe the hobo on the corner. Welcome to "Livin Po."
These are recipes that you may make on occasion that you love to eat, that generally (but not always) cost around $20 to make, and can possibly feed more than just yourself. Because after all, the best part of food is sharing it with others! And with that, here is the first ever entry...

Pasta Fazoul (or Liquid Pizza)
What you'll need:
A Crock Pot or Large Soup Pan
Small pan to boil noodles
2-32 oz cans of tomato sauce

1 pack of sliced pepperonis
1 lb of ground hamburger
1 8 oz bag of mozzarella cheese
16 0z bag of elbow rigatoni

Directions: Brown hamburger. Possibly add some garlic powder for flavor while browning. Then strain the grease out through a colander and rinse with water to get the excess fat off. Put hamburger into pan. Add tomato sauce. For each can of sauce, add 1.5-2 cans of water. Add pepperoni (make sure you remove the little freshness saver pack in there, it's hard to get out while it's cooking). Let sit covered until boiling, stirring occasionally. You can also add some of your favorite Italian herbs and spices for flavor. While that is cooking boil the noodles. When they're done, strain the noodles and cover them with the sauce. Then add the mozzarella for that extra pizza feel. You can also include grated Parmesan and crushed red peppers. Molto bene!
